Roses from my favourite bush, a climbing rose that produces mini roses, all clustered together in a bunch. This bunch would have to be the most magnificent I have picked from it yet.
The flowers are pictured exactly as they were growing - 20 or more beautiful little roses all growing from a single stem. It's lovely to be able to pick a ready-grown bunch of roses right from your own garden.

This month I'm joining in with Trishie for Floral Friday. This truly is a wonderful project. I missed it last month as time got away from me, but this month I was determined to join in. I made the effort to pick and photograph flowers, a happy process in itself and certainly something that makes me smile! I love participating in blog hops that I actually makes me enjoy something in the real world, not just a virtual something in the middle of the blogosphere.
I do advise joining next month!
"Floral Friday is a monthly photography project with different themes each month. This series is about fun and taking time out to smell the flowers. To play along this month, simply add the link to your made me smile flower post below. To play along next time, please email Trishie for next month's theme."

Totally hear you! All my selections floral friday were fresh pickins from my own garden/yard. You are so bountiful in roses! Lovely! do you fertilize them and keep up with them?
ReplyDeleteNot really no :-) It's in a rocky, sandy sort of builders mix, gets watered in the dry season and about once a month we put the hay from the chicken shed around it - all the chicken manure and broken down hay seems to do it good!
DeleteOoh, what a glorious rose. Does it have much scent?
ReplyDeleteIt was here when we moved and very sickly, so had no scent. The healthier it gets though the lovelier scent it has :-)
DeleteI really like how they are all from one stem!
ReplyDeleteThat is my favourite thing about them too! :-)
DeleteBeautiful roses and such a lot on one stem.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weekend
Carolyn
