Spring is Coming (on Film) + Lots More

I've begun to see the first little signs of spring this week....we even had a few days that were decidedly hot, but now the cold has returned - most likely the last chill of winter before Spring arrives properly. The peach tree has begun to blossom, the mango is laden in flowers and there are Tree Martins flitting about the paddocks and trees all day long.
This season is short lived in this part of the country, which makes me relish it all the more. Very soon the gentle, warm days will turn to searing hot ones, so I'll lap up spring while it lasts.
I've put together a short film - it's been a couple of months since my last so I hope you'll enjoy this one all the more!

After you've watched it, I've included beneath a few links to articles I've enjoyed lately plus a few other things too.

Enjoy!

  5. Look at those pretty pink blossoms heralding Spring! Here, the bare branches of the plane trees are just coming to life with a few tiny new green leaves. Soon, the trees will be covered in their new growth and Spring will be well and truly sprung. I love Spring but, like you, it signals that the hot, hot summer weather isn't far away. Meg
