Loving // That the weather is cooling down (albeit slowly!), and that I'm feeling so much more settled in this new place
Eating // Peanut Butter cookies
Drinking // Water...that is, more of it. I had a couple of busy days where I let myself get a bit dehydrated, so I've tried to be more conscious of how much water I have during the day
Feeling // So happy after Saturday's workshop (still), and a little daunted by the small number of weeks left on the count-down calendar for when I need to leave for Knitfest Maleny (so much to do still!).
Making // Tea Mice, and a secret gift knit that I can't share here!
Thinking // About running a Tea Mouse Knit-Along. It's definitely happening, after a couple of lovely ladies asked if I would do one. As it had already been on my mind, it was a pretty easy decision :-) I'll have the dates and details up here soon, I'm just organising the kits (for mice like the one pictured, and others) and other goodies at the moment.

Is that a sourdough starter you have on the go.... I am keen to start one up after watching an episode of River Cottage. What do you start/make yours with?
ReplyDeleteHi Clarissa,
DeleteYes that's my sourdough starter, one I was reviving from two year old dried started I had stored :-) I bake with 100% whole spelt for my sourdough, although I start it off with rye for the first few days. All of my recipes are in my eBook (https://saylittlehenshop.com/collections/sourdough/products/spelt-sourdough-made-simple-ebook), but I've also written a lot about sourdough here on the blog if you check out the tag: http://www.saylittlehen.com/search/label/sourdough
Sarah :-)
Hi Sarah...your workshop looked lovely, well done! I am trying to embrace autumn but it feels more like mid summer here...37 degrees today.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Jane! Nearly 40 degrees at this time of year?! That's just rude! Hope it cools down soon x
DeleteSuch a cute little mouse! Glad you're feeling more settled. Enjoy the Autumn weather. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Meredithe! x
DeleteThose are very cute mice, Sarah. I love the little nose pointing up in the air and the flowery ears. Meg:)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Meg! x
DeleteHi Sarah, my first time linking to Here and Now. Love the wee mice, and your workshop looked like great fun. I've been enjoying going back and reading your old posts....`gorgeous border collies.
ReplyDeleteHi Nanette,
DeleteThanks so much for joining in! I'm off to read your post now x
Hi Sarah, glad to hear you are still enjoying the 'buzz' after your workshop. I love the mice - my oldest daughter is very into mice right now. I might have to consider a kit when you release them - or send it in the direction of a knitting-loving relative at least!
ReplyDeleteHi Laura,
DeleteThank you so much! The kits are available now if you'd like to have a look :-) https://saylittlehenshop.com/collections/kits-stash-packs
Peanut Butter Cookies sounds delicious :) Tea Mice is sooo lovely :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Ezgi! x
DeleteLovely post xx I did mine today and forgot about the time difference, thought it was midnight here when it expired! Ha ha - anyway I have still done it as it's a good reminder of the lovely things in life. Who knows, next month I might do it on time! xx :)
ReplyDeleteOh no! Time differences can be so annoying, can't they? You're more than welcome to pop the link to you post in the comments here x
DeleteOh peanut butter cookies sound VERY good right now! I may have to bake myself some, even if it messes up my over cleaned open home kitchen a little. Heheh... :)
ReplyDeleteAh, house-on-the-market kitchens are no fun at all!! x
