Welcome to this month's Here & Now! I got quite a fright writing September up there in the title. I mean, I know it's September but when one actually has to write the word it's kind of literally right there...in your face. September means the heat will soon be here, the air will be very dry and the days will be a little hazy as people start to do burn offs and controlled (or sometimes uncontrolled!) fires.
What does September mean in your part of the world? We'd all love it if you'd join in this month's Here & Now...it's a simple as writing a blog post and then putting the link to it in the link up below!
Loving // These clear sunny days that are so cold in the morning and lovely and warm in the afternoon. The very beginning of spring is lovely! I'm also loving taking the Border Collies for walks and having lots of game time with them in the afternoon now that the weather is so nice
Eating // Spelt sourdough cinnamon scrolls...with the addition of apple and currants. Soooo yummy! (Recipe is here)
Drinking // Less tea as the weather starts to warm and more water, with a few drops of apple cider vinegar added to it. I find adding the vinegar helps me to absorb my water better and thus feel more hydrated
Feeling // Frustrated with Canon and DSLR cameras in general after trying to sort my 4-year-old camera's problems out
Making // I've started on a cotton top! I'm crossing my fingers and all of my toes that I have enough yarn to finish it - it's going to be a close call I think! It's kind of thrilling but kind of scary to craft like that :-) I'm also getting lots of spinning done with my 100 Days of Spinning challenge.
Thinking // That I'm going to take a step back from Instagram. If you're a user you'll be aware of the recent changes made to it, and whilst I still enjoy using Instagram I feel the need to pull back on it and reinvest some more time here. I only allow myself a certain amount of "screen time" a day, and Instagram is using more than its fair share!
Dreaming // Yarny dreams...my lips are sealed on that though for now!
The link up is open from today until midnight on the 17th of this month. Remember you can now join in two ways - either on your blog or share your Here & Now on Instagram! The instructions on how to Instagram your Here & Now are below, but here are the guidelines for blogging:
Copy and paste the list below, create your blog post, then pop back here and add your link! (Please remember to link back here in your post too so that others can join in!)

DeleteHello Sarah, I just popped over from Meg's blog. I am also a country Queenslander. Here and now I am loving the ducks and 7 little ducklings that have just left our dam and are now wandering past while my kelpie/collie cross Moxie sleeps on, unaware of their presence. I am dreaming of rain. I hope you have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteHello Sherri! I'm so happy you found your way here via Meg's lovely blog. Ducklings are so special, they grow up so fast! I hope you get some rain too x
DeleteOh cinnamon scrolls...drool... Here & Hungry strikes again! Haha!
ReplyDeleteWe've had rain every day of the month thus far, so that you for your little dose of virtual sunshine. I know it's hard to complain about our soggy days when many of our Here & Now friends are waiting for rain. If only I could share a little!
Haha - maybe we should change the name! ;-)
DeleteYou can complain about your soggy days - too much rain can be as bad as not enough! Xx
Whatever frustrations you may have with cameras, Sarah, you surely know how to capture beautiful photos. Your cinnamon scrolls look just delicious, my tummy is grumbling now! Hoping we get some rain soon - fingers crossed. Meg X
ReplyDeleteThank you Meg! I took these on the second hand Canon I had to by when mine died. I was lucky to find it otherwise I'd probably be blogging with no photos!
