Eating // Spaghetti and meatballs (or at least I was last night) - simple food, made well, is always the best!
Drinking // Tea (no surprises there!)
Feeling // Happy with myself for mastering another skill, however small, with the camera. I've finally been brave enough to drop my aperture all the way to f/1.8 and f/1.4! (On my 50mm lens for those interested).
Making // The very last leg of my unicorn
Thinking // How housework seems never ending
Dreaming // Of one day running a sourdough making workshop - wouldn't that be fun?

Oh it's looking lovely in your world, as always, Sarah! Congrats on your photo triumph as well. :)
ReplyDeleteI also suspect that housework is never ending. The sun is peaking out here this morning and I have a million loads (well...maybe that's a small exaggeration...) of laundry on my chore to-do list today while I can get things out to dry.
Thanks Laura!
DeleteI hope you've gotten all of your washing hung and dried - the washing would have to be the hardest thing to keep up with, housework wise! x
Yay to mastering new skills!! Your photos are gorgeous with amazing bokeh and I love the narrow depth of field you've achieved in the photo of your pup!
ReplyDeleteI've had the 50mm lens on my wish list for a long time. (Wonder if I'll miss being able to zoom though ... that is ... I'll have to move myself to compose a picture lol!)
Thanks for sharing part of your world. : )
Thank-you so very much for your lovely comment!
DeleteThe 50mm lens was the first prime lens I bought, coming straight off the zoom lens that came with the camera. I thought I'd miss zooming too, but the quality of the fixed lens is amazing compared to a zoom, and I find it actually helped me improve my photography as I'm positive that I move around way more with my prime lenses, rather than just standing still zooming in and out :-)
Housework is so over rated, at least if you leave it to do something more exciting, you know it will be there when you return still.
ReplyDeleteOh yes - if there's one thing you can say about housework is that it's reliable! Always there waiting for you :-)
DeleteI think the heat has arrived where I am. I have fans on and a plan to be in the garden this afternoon has been abandoned. I am glad for weeding, watering and mulching that I did yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're keeping cool! I know the heat will return here very, very shortly and I'm not too impressed with it :-)
DeleteOh, look at those puppy dog eyes! <333 What a sweetheart. And those pictures are gorgeous, as always! <3
ReplyDeleteI had spagetti and meatballs last night! How funny! :) I do think I could live off those kind of comfort meals for the rest of my life... they're soooo good!
Kate xx
Thank-you so much Kate!
DeleteIt must have been the night for spaghetti and meatballs! x
Pretty light beautifully captured with your aperture settings! Spaghetti and meatballs are always a winner aren't they? x
ReplyDeleteThank-you so much Jane! Yes they are always popular, except I hated them as a child, but love them now ;-)
DeleteCan't wait to see your unicorn.
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos.
Best, Anja
Thank you so much Anja! And for joining in - off to see your post x
