Let's Get Growin'!

So, today is the official day for posting about blog growth....or something like it! This post is being written because I am participating in Vicki's Grow Your Blog Party. {thank-you Vicki and what a lovely idea!}

For any new visitors to Chantille Fleur, I'd like to say hello {you can call me Sarah} and welcome! I hope you'll stay and have a look around. Below is a bit of info about my blogging venture.

Why and when did I start Blogging?
The first time I hit the publish button was on the 17th of June 2012. That was a nerve wrecking business and - no surprises - my first post about baking pizza received a grand total of five views. I look back at the way I wrote it and grin at the stiff and almost unfriendly way the post was written. How much I have learnt since then! (and am still learning :-) )
As for why I started this blog, to be totally honest I don't have a clue. I'm not sure what possessed me to jump into the blog-world, but I am so glad that I did. I love blogging, both the writing and the reading of other's words, and I hope that I shall continue with Chantille Fleur for quite a while to come!

Just what is my blog all about?
Well, I seem to write about a whole jumble of things. We live on a small farm in the most beautiful place on earth, and we share our block with so many different native birds and other creatures. Along side the native wildlife is our domestic animals, that is, our chooks and mini cows to name just a few of our farm animals. I love sharing stories of their crazy antics with my readers, along with a whole bunch of other stuff. This (mostly) includes baking, recipes, crafting, news of my daily adventures, notes about the little things that make life worth living and what ever else I feel like writing about! (oh, and my darling mischief-making puppy, Rilla)

If you would like to read a more proper intro about Chantille Fleur, then check out our About Page.

And as I certainly have a jumbled blog criteria, I invite you to explore Chantille Fleur further and see if it takes your fancy! Here's a little list of our most popular posts ever - as well as a few personal favourites - to get you started.

    1. Hello Wendy! The little one above is an orphaned Wallaby joey (baby). We were babysitting two of them the middle of last year, whilst their full time carer took a break. :-)
      I'm glad to hear you're enjoying! Sarah xx
