I See A Storm Brewing





Day 20 of the photo a day challenge: Something You Saw

I saw a great big storm building over the mountains. It was cool, windy, and then suddenly still and silent. 

I do love the feeling of a storm nearby. Do you?

PS I failed on day 18. It called for a picture of a shadow. The sun was cruel to me and hid all day. But I did get number 19. I'm being backwards and plan to share it with you later :-)

  2. I absolutely do! They seem more dramatic in the summer don't they? Maybe it's because we're so hot that even the possibility of rain is so desirable and we watch with bated breath hoping they'll ease the heat and pour on us with cooling rain. Have a lovely week!

  6. Beautiful images! We had lots of clouds today too but just a few little drizzles of rain. I prefer not to have big storms in this desert country as we just wind up with a big mess. Have a great new week. Tammy

  8. One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to sit on my back porch and watch storms roll in...fantastic pictures! I love the contrast of the dark with the green!
