{two} I walked outside and found Rilla curled up in the washing basket, sound asleep and perfectly comfortable. I don't think I'll need to bother buying her expensive bedding!
{three} I stumbled upon this pretty little flower whilst feeding the animals this morning. It was such a lovely surprise, although I don't know what kind of flower it is. It's not a weed, and looks to be some sort of bulb?
{four} A jar of freshly baked Anzac biscuits is enough to make anyone happy! {recipe coming soon}
I had trouble keeping this week's list to four things.
What been making you happy lately?
Have an enjoyable Sunday!

Looking forward to the recipe! I think the egg shot is lovely...anything that you can grow or produce yourself is an extra sweet bonus in my eyes! That is why I can't wait for spring!! I have been enjoying getting all of my seed packets in the mail for my garden...though tomorrow they are calling for an ice storm!! Oh well! Beautiful pics lady!!!
ReplyDeleteThank-you so much! I hope the ice storm doesn't do any damage. Ordering seeds is so much fun!
DeleteEnjoy, xx
Totally enjoyed your photos. Like our dog, it doesn't look as if your Rilla needs a feather bed! And I believe your pretty pink flower may be a rain lily, a small bulb. Are the leaves kind of thin and long? Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteThe leaves are thin, a Rain Lily sounds so pretty!
DeleteHope you have a beautiful day too!
xx
Love todays photo's--great job--and I love pink flowers even it we don't know the name of them!!!
ReplyDeleteWished I could have some chickens--but seeing as I live in a Senior apt complex--
I don't think it would be welcomed!!! though we do have a garden--but--it is right next to a train track--and I mean right next to it--and this place was built on an old dump site--sooooo!!!
but the good news is they are not letting us have '2' cats instead of just one--
so filled out adoption papers today for a second one!!!
and I buy organic--
Hugs, Di and miss gracie
Thanks Di and Miss Gracie!
DeleteHave fun with your new cat, and have a happy weekend!

Rilla just made my whole day!!! I'm happy, too - and thanks for that! Happy week - Tanya
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your post of four things to be happy about. What a great idea that is! I might do that sometimes too. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, I came over from grow your blog party. I must say you have beautiful countryside and i love all of your pictures. I have read previous post and enjoyed everyone of them. Your little one you were bottle feeding is adorable. Rilla reminds me of Spuds, who was also a Border Collie, He had the white markings. It was so sad when my son lost him. Now they have a blue healer and a corgi. My grandsons love them along with their horses. I will visit again. Have a wonderful day. A new Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteHi Shirley!
DeleteThanks for your lovely words! It's sad how our pets don't have as long a life spam as us. Spuds is such a cute name for a dog! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Sarah-
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures of 'happy'. What a nice idea. Perhaps I shall participate one of the weeks, I checked out the original post via your link to 'little birdie'.
I have a question for you.... you speak of morning tea and afternoon tea. Can you tell me - do you always have tea at that time of day? everyday? a snack with tea?
I know this must sound like a ridiculous questions, but after all I am from California- LOL.
I enjoy a cup of tea almost every afternoon about 3ish. It's just something I did with my Grammy, and have just continued on with it.
It's the time of day I take a break from daily activities, before starting dinner. Plus the caffeine boost gets me through the evenings, as I start my days about 5AM.
see you again soon-
Becka @ Girasole Farm
Hi Becka,
DeleteMorning tea is eaten between breakfast and lunch, usually around 10-11am. It is usually when tea/coffee is had with cake/biscuits or some other sweet snack, although I think that the term morning/afternoon tea must have been kept from earlier, more British days as not everyone drinks tea at these times.
Afternoon tea can be the same, eaten sometime between lunch and late afternoon. For most people the same type of food is consumed, just swapped around ie if you had a sweet in the morning then you'll have fruit or vise versa.
Hope this all makes sense!
Sarah xx
Always love a good anzac!!
